Spring Season
Welcome to the 7U Tball Division.
Tball is a parent participation division and each player must have a parent/guardian with them at each event.
The 7U/Tball division – follows the Rally Cap program which is Baseball Canada’s Official Initiation Program for boys and girls aged 6 and 7.
Your players’ first experiences in baseball should be filled with active and engaging activities that are developmentally appropriate for their age. The Rally Cap program has been designed specifically for young baseball players and aims to increase interest in baseball.
The four main goals of the Baseball Canada Rally Cap program are to:
- Promote increased self-esteem among Rally Cap children and adults.
- Create an environment in which children and adults can have fun with baseball.
- Teach baseball skills, rules and strategy to our players.
- Model and teach competitiveness with an emphasis on good sportsmanship.
Players will participate in combined game/practice structured events.
Teams will play twice a week (1 weekday practice, 1 weekend game), combining team play with practice while focusing on the Baseball Canada’s FUNdamentals:
During the season, the teams will be working on the 5 FUNdamentals of baseball.
- Throwing
- Base Running
- Receiving
- Hitting
- General Knowledge
Your child will have the opportunity to showcase their skills at the Official Rally Cap Days in the spring season.
All players go through fun stations where they will perform different tasks.
This event is designed to build self-esteem in players, promote skill development and encourage fun with friends.
We will call on ALL Tball parents to volunteer during the Rally Cap Days events.
7U Player Required Equipment:
- Baseball glove
- athletic support cup (jock or jill)
- running shoes (or baseball cleats)
- Baseball helmet, with strap
- Bat (optional – there will be team bats available)
- BCMBA BAT RULES: 7U – 30 inch, 2 5/8 inch max diameter, unlimited length/weight drop – bats with greater than 2 ¼ in. barrel diameter must be marked “USABB or stamped with BPF 1.15” (Bat Performance Factor)
- Jersey / T-Shirt – provided by the program and yours to keep
- Hat – provided by the Rally Cap program and yours to keep
Summer Season – 2026 we are offering a July summer program for anyone who wishes to continue to extend their spring season. (reg link emailed to spring families)
