COACH CERTIFICATION & TRAINING:

Coaching in BC Minor Baseball 11U-18U divisions requires you to complete division specific training through the NCCP Coaching Certification Program.

Please review the minimum requirement for the upcoming BC Minor Baseball season if you have not yet met the minimum requirements. BC Minor Baseball – COACH CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

2026 – BC MINOR BASEBALL – COACHES CONFERENCE:

As part of our commitment to coach development, NWBA & SB/NW River Giants program will cover the BC Minor Baseball Coaches Conference $135 registration fee for any of our Coaches who intend to coach during the upcoming spring season for either Majors, 9U, 11U, 13U, 15U, 18U divisions through direct league billing.

Registering for the conference gets you access to the free NCCP coach clinics running in February. (After February, NCCP course clinics are approx. $60 each.)

It is highly recommended to register for the BCMBA CoachesConference and attend as many of the on-time only FREE NCCP certification courses below:

Wed. Feb. 11th, 5:30 – 9:30pm – Absolutes

Wed. Feb. 18th, 5:30 – 9:30pm – Planning

Mon. Feb. 23rd, 5:30 – 9:30pm – Strategies

The Coaches Caravan is run by BC Minor Baseball and is a great way to get our young players excited for the spring season.

COACHES DEVELOPMENT CLINIC:

New West Minor Baseball is looking forward to hosting a joint ‘Coaches Development Clinic’ with South Burnaby Minor Baseball this Spring for our 5U-13U Coaches on Sunday March 29, 2026 at Queens Park East turf & Queens Park Arena (mulitpurpose room).
