As the spring season progresses toward its conclusion, we are beginning preparations for our Summer All-Star teams. These competitive teams are made up of selected players with the highest skill set and commitment to a full summer season.
We will be fielding one Allstar team for 13UA, 13UAA, 15UA, & 18UAA
● Our SB/NW River Giants Coach & Player Development committee will determine our
coaching staff for all 4 teams (all coaches must apply if interested)
● All 2026 spring players that have played in a minimum of 50% of games are eligible to
tryout
● All players trying out should be available for all team events from June 15-Aug 10
(depending on when your division provincials are) and be prepared to travel & cover
costs for accommodations for Provincials if the team successfully advances
● all 4 teams will hold ‘open’ tryouts to allow players from outside NW & SB to tryout as
each team can take up to 3 ‘import’ players if needed (import players will only be
considered over SB/NW players if the skill set if higher than our current players)
● Impartial evaluators will run the tryouts and provide data
● Spring coaches will have the opportunity to provide player feedback, if needed
● all 4 teams will continue to practice & play games at both NW & SB fields
● Additional Allstar team registration fees will apply to those that make the roster
● Players making roster will have 36 hrs to accept their position AND register
● Additional reg fees cover; umpire/coach/trainer costs, BC Minor team fees, any
additional uniform/clothing costs, equipment & baseball costs, admin fees
Participation on an All-Star team requires a significant commitment from both players and families. Teams can expect approximately 4–5 days of baseball per week, including a combination of practices, games, and tournaments. Schedules may include weekdays and weekends, with travel potentially ranging from Chilliwack and Mission to Squamish or the Sunshine Coast.

13UA East @ Invemere – Aug 6-10
13UAA @ Kamloops – July 22-26
15UA @ Kelowna – Aug 6-10
18UAA @ Mission – July 30-Aug 3
