15U/Bantam Division – co-ed & open to players turning 14 & 15 in 2024.
15UA is considered a ‘house’ division and 15UAA is for more competitive players looking for more games & travel. The home fields are Queens Park Diamond #2 & Ron McLean Park which have 80 foot base paths and 54 feet distance from the rubber to home plate. A regulation game is 7 innings.
The 2024 Spring/Summer 15U/Bantam Division will be merged with South Burnaby Metro Club (SBMC) Baseball. Any player living in either of the New Westminster or South Burnaby BC Minor boundaries can register with Diamondsides Baseball, without requiring a player release.
Equipment for 15U/Bantam
- Baseball glove
- Batting helmet
- Athletic support/cup
- Baseball cleats
- Baseball bat (optional, team bats provided)
- All bats must meet BC Minor standards, be 2-3/4 inch max diameter, max -10 weight to length ratio, composite, aluminum or wood combination
- Baseball pants (white) & belt (color at coaches’ discretion)
- Jersey (provided by the league and returned at the end of the season)
- Hat (provided by the league)
